If I have Nexus to Australia can I keep trading?
If, as an Offshore Entity, you can demonstrate the following Nexus to Australia requirements to us, you may be eligible for a Macquarie account:
- Is a citizen who resides in Australia or works overseas; or
- Has dual citizenship with Australia and another country and resides in Australia; or
- Has permanent residency (PR) status and resides in Australia or works overseas; or
- Can demonstrate a legitimate residency/work visa (such as a 457 visa, skilled migration visa) issued by the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) and resides in Australia; or
- Is a citizen or PR who works overseas but their immediate family resides in Australia (partner, spouse, children living in the family home)
