Contract notes (or trade confirmations) are an electronic record of your buy/sell orders. When an order fills, you’ll receive an email from us at reports@openmarkets.com.au with the subject line "Contract Note – account number/account name".
Contract notes contain:
- Account details (account name, address, account number)
- The trade details (trade date, quantity, security, price, fees, settlement date)
They’re sent to all account holders’ registered email address. You can also choose to add a third party email address to receive copies of Contract Notes e.g. your accountant (How do I update my email address? – Opentrader) or to Sharesight (Is Opentrader compatible with Sharesight? – Opentrader). You can also let us know if you need to update your registered email address (How do I update my email address? – Opentrader)
If you can’t find a particular trade confirmation, please check your junk mail. Failing that, you can also find a copy from the Opentrader platform.
How do I find a contract note?
- Log into Opentrader
- Go to the "Portfolio" tab
-
Click "Contract Notes" under your current positions
- Find the contract note you’re after and click on the PDF icon on the right to download it
