Third Party Authority
If you wish to authorise another person to transact on your behalf you can appoint this person by providing us with:
1. Third Party Driver's Licence or Passport, together with a utility bill from the last 3 months.
2. Third Party agrees to electronic verification using their ID supplied.
3. Signed & dated Third Party Authority Form.
For single account holders (including Sole Directors)
Only you as the single account holder are authorised to trade on your account.
For joint account holders (including directors and joint trustees)
All joint account holders are authorised to transact on the account although secondary account holders are not required to have trading access. You can determine this on the account application form.
Electronic Verification of the third parties identity
When you apply to add someone onto your account as a third party they consent to OpenTrader/OpenMarkets conducting an online identification check with a credit reporting agency.
Upon receipt of your third party application and/or submission of your online or paper application, we will verify the third parties identity and identification documentation using our online verification system.
If they do not pass the electronic verification, we will request additional documentation.
