Macquarie Cash Management Accounts (CMA) can be integrated with Opentrader, which allows for a pretty slick trading experience ⚡️
When you sign up to Opentrader, we’ll create an ANZ Cashactive account for you as the default option. If you’d like to link a Macquarie CMA instead, you can let us know and we can link this for you instead (please see here for the steps) 🔗
As long as:
- The CMA isn’t linked to another trading account already ✅
- The CMA account name matches the Opentrader account name exactly ✅
We’ll use the CMA account to settle your trades on Opentrader
After your CMA has been linked, we'll automatically deposit proceeds from sale transactions and debit funds for shares you purchase 💰
Managing your Macquarie CMA
Deposit money via bank transfer
You can send a transfer via online banking to your Macquarie account 💰
Macquarie doesn't charge deposit fees for this account (CMA), but please check if your sending bank does (especially for international transfers).
Domestic transfers usually take around 2-3 days. International transfers do take longer - please check transfer timeframes with your sending bank directly ⏳
We update your Opentrader balance each morning (on business days), so please allow an extra business day for the money to reflect in your available trading balance.
Withdrawing your money
Macquarie requires you to nominate an external bank account in their system before you can transfer funds out. You can do this by signing into Macquarie. After this, simply send money via online banking to the nominated account 💰
Please check with Macquarie for transfer timeframes and for things like international transfer fees ⏳
